It's no new news that the kids of Team Kramer--Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin--have been active little kids who have a knack for sports and everything athletic.
Their father Doug, a former professional basketball player, is the one in charge of their physical activities. Of course, he naturally taught them how to play basketball. Their sprawling property also has a big pool so Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin would go swimming thrice a week.
Brady, one of Doug's sisters, sometimes comes over to teach the kids volleyball. Their homeschooling schedule also has every Thursday reserved for their physical activities.
Aside from swimming, Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin also have taekwondo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, arnis, and ballet lessons.
As an athlete, Doug says that engaging kids in sports can be both a bonding experience and a way to learn various lessons like discipline and hard work.
"I can protect my girls when needed, but believe me, as they continue to progress, they will be able to stand up for themselves. Arnis, Taekwondo, and Jiu Jitsu! Those are the disciplines they work on weekly. And today they got promoted, they're now yellow belts in our national sport, Arnis!" Doug proudly wrote on his Instagram appreciation post for Kendra and Scarlett who earned their yellow belts in arnis.
This comes just a few months after the girls earned their first stripes in their Brazilian jiu-jitsu class which is taught by Pichon, their mother Chesca's brother.
In 2020, Scarlett and Gavin also moved up a level in their taekwondo class. The kids also occasionally go biking before the pandemic hit.
