Kapuso actor and singer Derrick Monasterio is taking his fitness game to a whole other level.
Aside from training for CrossFit, this fitness buff has also taken up weightlifting, and confessed he hopes to train with weightlifter and Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz someday.
"I work out because I want to get stronger. I want to become an Olympic athlete. I also want to join CrossFit Games in the United States,” he said in a virtual press conference for his single "Virgo."
Currently, Derrick trains every day and has three coaches for weightlifting. He also follows a personal meal plan specific for his body type.
The 'Return To Paradise' actor also upgraded his lifestyle and made it healthier by cutting off alcohol and sleeping early.
