Derrick Monasterio, one of Sparkle's Next Brightest Stars of 2022, has been in the entertainment industry for more than a decade, and he has amassed a body of work that anyone would be proud of.
After making his small screen debut as part of the cast of 'Tween Hearts,' Derrick has only been going nowhere but up, clinching roles in seryes like 'Paroa: Ang Kuwento ni Mariposa' (2012), 'The Half-Sisters' (2014), 'Mulawin vs. Ravena' (2017), and even the lead role in 'Tsuperhero' (2016).
He's also graced the silver screen, with his most daring role to date being the Regal Films' flick 'Wild and Free' (2018), which is also available on Netflix.
Currently, Derrick stars as Red Ramos in the GMA Afternoon Prime series 'Return To Paradise,' alongside Sparkle actress Elle Villanueva and seasoned actress Eula Valdes.
Along the way, Derrick has also managed to build up an impressive body with his various fitness training sessions.
