GMANetwork.com got the chance to interview Kristina Sy, CEO and co-founder of Electric Studio, the country's first indoor cycling studio.

Kristina talked about her pursuit to make make fitness "less boring" and turn it into a wonderful experience that people should enjoy.

She said, "We always try to think of the next-level ideas like how to change what people perceive that a lot of them think 'Oh, fitness is boring,' or it's 45 minutes of like grunt work.

"But here we really want to show people that it could be exciting.

"You know whatever you had plan tonight, I'm sure it wasn't to exercise but now with these people redefining what fitness is all about and we hope that people see it tonight in our rooftop party."

One of the leading boutique fitness entrepreneurs, Kristina called their newest cycling studio in the trendy Bonifacio Global City "perfect," with such a beautiful view of the metro skyline.

"We've always dreamed of bringing our bikes somewhere in a destination, because we really feel like you know working out shouldn't just be limited to the four corners of the studio.

"It's really an experience that what Electric (Studios) is about, so we've always been just trying to find a perfect location to do it.

"And when we found Fairways, we said 'this is it!'

"We have to just bring the all the bikes up and just have a big party to celebrate our community, wherein all our riders can enjoy being together, seeing the view. Having fireworks and lights, it is a really big celebration of our community."

For those who are intimidated about such a new and fresh concept of working out, Kristina explained that indoor cycling is for "everyone" even for those who are not even fit to begin with.

Explaining, she said, "There's no age limit that is something that we really pride ourselves about. You know usually, when people think about fitness they think that they have to be fit already, its scary if I'm not fit."

"So we really want to show people that you could workout and it doesn't matter who you are, what your background, how old are you, guy, girl like this is something everyone can do."

Among those who went to the Electric Rooftop Ride last Saturday were GMA News and Public Affairs personalities, Saksi anchor Pia Arcangel and Unang Hirit host Lyn Ching.

Pia, who has been doing indoor cycling for two years, said that this form exercise is such a good "stress reliever," since her job as a late night news anchor can be pretty hectic at times.

She also considers indoor cycling a "fun activity."

"Importante kasi talaga that you have a source of endorphins I guess. This for me a happy place talaga and it's the longest workout that I have ever done.

"Because, I just really enjoy. It's important that you find something you enjoy doing. Kasi if it feels like a workout, it's hard to maintain."

Meanwhile, Lyn Ching pointed out that indoor cycling will make your heart a lot stronger, since it is a good cardio exercise. "Oh my god! It's good for your cardio, you heart will be stronger tapos nagpapawis ka talaga. So it's very-very healthy for you."
