Gab Valenciano shows off muscles, ripped abs; shares fitness secret

Gab Valenciano reveals the fitness regimen that helped him reach his #BodyGoals during the quarantine.

Gab took a photo of how his body looked like before the start of the enhanced community quarantine, and compared it to his amazing gains.

He related, “Prior to the lockdown, I would get frequent anxiety attacks and insanely high blood pressure. Stress and lack of sleep were majors factors. I was also 15 pounds underweight and out almost every night. To put it plainly, I didn't take care of myself both physically and mentally. Body weight has always been one of my greatest insecurities so I needed to change my mindset and lifestyle.

“Today (May 18), I hit my goal from 155 to 180 in 45 days, and it really is a different sense of fulfillment and accomplishment to be able to overcome and demolish your inner demons. I want to thank everyone involved in this process for pushing me to my absolute limit every single day. Sharing this victory and hoping it inspires someone to find a goal, strive and achieve it no matter the circumstance. And always remember to surround yourself with people who lift you up and stretch your potential to succeed.”

To further encourage others to work on their fitness goals, the Wowowin director also shared his regimen.

Gab posted a video of the exercises he has been doing. He also emphasized the importance of clearly identifying one's goals, seeking professional help, subscribing to proper nutrition, discovering the workout routine one would enjoy, and finding a support group.

He said, “Many have been asking about my fitness regimen and how I achieved it in such a short span of time. One word. DISCIPLINE. And to those who know me, I will stop at nothing to achieve a certain goal I set for myself. I am not a certified coach or trainer whatsoever, but I do have professional help around to help guide me. I am speaking directly from my own experience and I hope it somehow helps and inspires you.”

Aside from working on his fitness goals, Gab also dedicated his time to relief efforts amid the COVID-19 crisis.
