To get kids to eat their veggies, one must come up with eye-catching and yummy recipes. More importantly, these dishes must also be nutritious.
Chef Melanie Figueroa shared a few of her healthy kid-friendly recipes on health and lifestyle show Pinoy MD.
Her first recipe is cucumber boats which are rich in ascorbic acid and calcium from the combination of cucumbers, potatoes, and raisins.
She also shared her apple galunggong sandwich recipe which is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids from the galunggong and fiber from the apples and lettuce.
