These are good for vegans (people who refrain from consuming animal products) and vegetarians (people who abstain from consuming meat).
From high-end restaurants to carinderia-style eatery, get to know these five restaurants in Quezon City that are vegan- and vegetarian-friendly.
1. 8Tables
Location: NBC Square Building, 88 Congressional Ave, Quezon City
8 Tables was a brainchild of chef Winston Chua, who runs a catering service.
Their specialties are Crispy Kare-kare and heritage Vinuguan (vegeterian dinuguan). They also offer a wide variety of pasta and salads.
8 Tables is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

2. Blissful Belly
Location: 77 Xavierville Ave, Quezon City
Blissful Belly has been serving vegetarian food for nearly a decade or so. The place looks like a carinderia-style eatery, with their dishes lined up in a long table.
They usually offer kare-kare, sisig, fish fillet, and malunggay soup, along with their signature red rice. Compared with other restaurants, Blissful Belly is quite cheaper.

3. Greens Vegetarian
Location: 92 Scout Castor St, Diliman, Quezon City
Located in the heart of Quezon City, Greens Vegetarian has been serving healthy foods since 2001 and it doesn't plan to stop anytime soon.
Customers must try their roasted veggies wrap, their house salad and their beef and broccoli.
Greens is open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

4. Vegetarian Kitchen
Location: 62B Mother Ignacia Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City
Vegetarian City is located across St. Mary's College in Mother Ignacia. The business has been around since 1990.
Their bestsellers are Spinach and Cream Cheese Dumplings, Caldereta in Gata, and Lengua in Mushroom Sauce.
Vegetarian Kitchen is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

5. Vegetarian Dinner Club
Location: 37A P. Florentino Street, Santa Mesa Heights, Quezon City
Every Friday and Saturday, Vegetarian Dinner Club offers a P250-buffet, in which all their foods are meat-less.
Meanwhile, every Monday to Thursday, they offer food delivery service for vegetarians. They offer different recipes every day.
Vegetarian Dinner Club is only open during Friday and Saturday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
