For those of you who don't know yet, celebrity Chrissy Teigen, a.k.a. John Legend's wife, is half-Thai and half-Norwegian. Her mother Vilailuck Teigen a.k.a. Pepper Thai is originally from Thailand.

So, it comes as no surprise that she can cook up legit mouthwatering Thai noodles.

However, in Chrissy Teigen's latest vlog, Vilailuck did not cook the popular Thai noodle dish Pad Thai; instead, she prepared a dish that has a very interesting name: The Pad Kee Mao or Drunken Noodles.

According to Vilailuck, “Kee Mao” literally translates to “a drunkard” or “a drunk person” in Thai. And the Pad Kee Mao is believed to be super spicy that even intoxicated people can taste the flavors in it.
