Two people were killed while four others were hurt in a shooting incident in Parañaque City, police confirmed on Thursday.

The victims were reportedly playing basketball when a 59-year-old gunman used a 9mm pistol and opened fire on the area Wednesday night, according to Parañaque City Police chief Nicolas Piñon in an interview on Unang Balita.

Isang unit owner po," Piñon said.

(Based on the footage, he entered the basketball court and opened fire.)

Police said the gunman then left the scene after the shooting.
