Taho is finally available online!

By Maine Aquino

Taho is one of the most-loved street foods found in the Philippines. It is made with silken tofu, sago, and brown sugar syrup.

Aside from being known as a delicious Pinoy snack, taho can also be considered as a healthy food option because of the use of tofu.

According to BBC Good Food, “Tofu is a good source of protein and contains all nine essential amino acids. It is also a valuable plant source of iron and calcium and the minerals manganese and phosphorous. In addition to this, it also contains magnesium, copper, zinc and vitamin B1.”

Due to community quarantine protocols because of COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot get taho from the street vendors. Luckily, we found some small business owners who will help us with our taho cravings and have them delivered to our homes.
