Feel right at home in Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas's restaurant

In 2018, couple Gladys Reyes and Christopher Sommereaux opened Estela Restaurant with the idea of extending their kitchen to customers who are looking for great food.

Located in San Isidro, Cainta, Estela is a casual restaurant that offers American-sized portions of your favorite home-cooked dishes.

If you're a fan of the couple, get your cameras ready because you might see them around while dining out with your family and friends.

Gladys shared with Pop Talk, “Hands-on kami kasi madalas kami nandito lalo na si Christopher. Siyempre ako 'pag hindi ako kailangan sa house, madalas rin ako nandito.”

If they can promote a couple of dishes, they recommend digging in the buffalo wings and the shrimp salted egg fettucine--both a house specialty.

Christopher said, “I was the one who recommended the chef that. Sabi ko ayaw ko na ng regular pasta kasi lahat ng restaurants sineserve pare-pareho.

“Sabi niya gawa ako for you and ginawa niya yan and pumatok naman kasi kakaiba.”

For some other pop na pop food choices, here are three options from Estela Restaurant that we'd like you to try.

1. Double cut pork chop

Cooking thick slices of pork chops is challenging but Estela Restaurant delivers a well-cooked viand.

According to Pop Talk host Tonipet Gaba, “What you get is a super moist, super lambot, and well-seasoned.”

2. Cream Pesto Linguine

For the cream pesto linguine, it was Glady's eldest son Christoff who had the idea to add this to their menu.

Surprisingly, it's not only the adults who favor this pasta dish but kids as well.

Based on customer feedback, the cream pesto linguine is best paired with the Peach Lifter, a light fizzy drink that refreshes your taste buds.

3. Beef Salpicao

Beef Salpicao is a classic Spanish dish composed of cubed beef sirloins, lots of minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, and seasoning.

What makes Estela's top-notch is you can request the chef to adjust the amount of spice in your plate.

Aside from that, the beef is tender and juicy up to the last bite.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Estela Restaurant is open for walk-in diners from Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

They are encouraging their customers to observe safety protocols and serve great food. You may reserve a table by messaging their mobile number 0917-833-6976.
