The supposed to be Maldives-bound baker found a new way to use his talent.
Marlo Pimentel was looking forward to flying to the Maldives.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic changed all that and halted his plan to work overseas.
But life goes on.
So, the Cebu-based baker decided to put up his own online business that he named, Artisan Bread Basket Online Store.
Marlo's bread products are not just your typical bakery items.
Instead, his creations feature portraits of people, celebrities, and public figures.
Just some of the personalities who graced his baked goodies were Marilyn Monroe, Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man character, the late vloggers Emman Nimedez and Lloyd Cadena, Vice-President Leni Robredo, and President Rodrigo Duterte.
He also made bread portraits of Kapuso personalities Kara David and Jessica Soho.
Customers can of course ask Marlo to create bread portrait of themselves for fun or for special occasions.
