K-pop-themed cafes and milk tea shops to visit to release your inner fan

By Cara Emmeline Garcia

One of the best things about being a K-pop fan is being able to fangirl/fanboy with your fellow moots and share all the amazing things about your ultimate bias group. And where better to celebrate it than Korean or K-pop-themed cafes and shops scattered all over Luzon?

But because of the global pandemic, being able to meet up with your besties and exchanging photo cards isn't as accessible as it was before. Add to the fact that there are social distancing protocols that we have to adhere to. Sometimes you have to resort to staying at home while gushing about your favorite K-pop groups online.

Thankfully, a few coffee shops and restaurants have re-opened for businesses while others delved into the world of delivery to allow you the power to have the same cup-sleeve feel while remaining safe from COVID.

Here are some K-pop-themed shops where you can fangirl or fanboy while being safe during this time.

1. Sincerely, Shawols Cafe

Location: 9014 Jakar Building, Buhay na Tubig Rd., Palico IV, Imus, Cavite

If you're a big fan of hits like “Replay,” “Ring Ding Dong,” “1 of 1” by the Princes of K-pop SHINee, then you better visit Sincerely, Shawols Café located in Imus, Cavite.

Sincerely, Shawols Cafe was established last 2019 by owner Larizza Camille Pasao, a SHAWOL, who wants to share her love for the SM Entertainment boy group with fellow moots.

Inside, you will find a collection of CDs, merchandise, banners, and posters of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin scattered all around the quaint café.

Their menu is also heavily influenced by SHINee as a few items are named after the boys' nicknames, hit songs, and so much more. We personally would like to try the Criminal Velvet and Jinkibunny drinks as we hear they are among the few crowd pleasers!

During this time, Sincerely, Shawols Cafe is open from Mondays to Sundays from 8 AM to 5 PM, and is open for delivery thru Angkas, Lalamove, Mr. Speedy, or Grab. Take a look at their menu on their official Facebook account.
