Angelica Panganiban is suffering from a bone disease called avascular necrosis or "bone death."

Angelica Panganiban () opened up about her health struggle in her latest vlog she uploaded on November 18.

According to Angelica, she found out in a recent medical test that she was suffering from avascular necrosis.

She shared on her vlog, “Nagpa-MRI ako and lumabas 'yung results ko na meron pala ako avascular necrosis.

She went on to explain her health condition, “So, avascular necrosis is bone death, namatay na 'yung bones ko sa aking balakang kaya pala hirap na ako maglakad.

According to hopkinsmedicine.org, avascular necrosis is a disease that results from the temporary or permanent loss of blood supply to the bone. When blood supply is cut off, the bone tissue dies and the bone collapses. If avascular necrosis happens near a joint, the joint surface may collapse.

This condition may happen in any bone.

Angelica mentioned that the treatment for her cpondition is called platelet-rich plasma or PRP.

“Masakit ba 'yung procedure?

The fiancée of business Gregg Homan added that her disease can be caused by steroids, which she stressed, was never part of her lifestyle.

Despite the hardship that she is going through right now, Angelica is keeping her spirits up that she will eventually heal soon, now that they were able to pinpoint the root cause of her extreme pain.

“Kahapon siya ginawa, so wala pang 24 hours 'yung nangyaring procedure sa akin. Naka-bed rest ako, kung mapapansin n'yo, obvious ba? Ako ay nasa bed, minimal movements lang. So, para 'tong mga first stage ng pregnancy ko, noong first trimester like bed rest lang.

“I'm staying positive. Halos isang taon na guys, since January nararamdaman ko 'to.

“I just can't believe na kumbaga at the age of 37 nagkaroon ako ng bone death. There was something dead inside me.
