Chie Filomeno responds to a netizen who asked if she has an eating disorder

Former GirlTrends member Chie Filomeno directly answered a netizen who asked about her body when she posted her Cebu travel photos on Instagram last August 23.
In the comment section of her post, an individual left a comment saying, “Genuine question, anorexic ba siya.”
Chie just responded, “genuine answer, nope. Tao ako.”
Based on the information published in mayoclinic.org, Anorexia nervosa, often simply called anorexia, is a treatable eating disorder in which people have a low body weight based on personal weight history. Although many with anorexia look very thin, some may look overweight.
The actress-dancer has previously reminded her online followers about the ill effects of body shaming.
She then reposted a 2018 post about it telling everyone, “How sad that there are so many cruel people in this amazing universe, and that some girls are bringing each other down when we should be the one lifting each other up.
“Body shaming is not okay, it'll never be okay. Not ever. Body shaming needs to stop!”
