It's no secret that many people have been avoiding crowded places ever since the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) began.

Some have even resorted to canceling gatherings and public events in fear that people may get infected with COVID-19, or that no one will show up for fear of getting infected.

So, what do you do if you're an organizer of an event, or you have to attend a public gathering? How do you stay safe from COVID-19?

The Department of Health has issued specific guidelines for event organizers and attendees. Check them out below:

You can also adopt preventive measures being done by some offices and schools, such as checking everyone for their temperature and determining who has fever or other symptoms of the COVID-19.

It may be very difficult to go on with our normal lives because of the threat of COVID-19, but that doesn't mean that we have to stop living.

The best we can do is to take all the necessary precautions and pray that a vaccine or cure is soon developed, in order to end the spread of the COVID-19. Stay safe and vigilant, mga Kapuso.
