Kris Aquino shows 'bad allergic reaction' after drinking wrong medicines
Kris Aquino apologized to her many fans yesterday, May 26, for canceling her much-awaited Facebook live session after suffering from a bad allergic reaction due to taking the wrong meds.
In an Instagram post, the Kris warned, “Don't swipe to the next two pictures if you're not okay seeing swollen eyes na parang nakipag sparring ako kay Ronda Rousey.”
The TV host-actress explained that she took the wrong pain relievers for her migraine last Sunday that resulted in a bad case of allergic reaction that lasted up to five days.
“Last Sunday, I drank the wrong pain reliever for my migraine--the result? Super bad allergic reaction and five days before [the] swelling finally subsided,” Kris said.
“Ingat please--let what happened to me be the warning.”
Furthermore, the popular talk show host also sustained a hand injury after trying to “be independent” and adjusting an electric fan stand.
“The last picture is my left hand because this afternoon I tried to be independent; I was adjusting the electric fan stand to lower it. Malay ko ba na puwedeng biglang bumagsak na lang 'yung buong fan and naipit na ko--OUCH!”
“Since hindi talaga puwede sa pain relievers and anti-inflammatory meds, I'm using helichrysum essential oil… Nurse Mona made a splint because ang hirap to straighten my hand, may mga naipit na ugat kaya up to my elbow yung kirot.”
In the comments section, she added further details about her injury and how she's coping with the pain.
In one of her comments, she detailed, “We have a nurse with us-- it just so happened she went home to visit her family.
"My medicine is now fixed--there's a weekly pill cases, color coded. It's really just the migraine that becomes unbearable.”
She also mentioned in another comment, “Kalurks pati sa pag-adjust ng stand fan naipit ako. Grabe 'yung parang pins and needles sa elbow--violet na 'yung mga naipit na ugat.”

One netizen even criticized the timing of her post by saying, “Did you die? No! Keep it to yourself. It's COVID-19 pandemic time, please.”
To which Kris responded, “I had promised 3 more FB live sessions with sharing for those in need--I explained why hindi natuloy.”
