Asia's Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose has been using the quarantine period to reflect and take care of herself while showbiz work has been halted due to the induced effects of COVID-19 crisis.

In an exclusive interview with Unang Hirit, the singer-actress said that she now prioritizes one of the most important lifestyle habits everyone should observe: enough sleep time.

“Dati sobrang dedma lang talaga ako sa puyat.

"Lagare sa dami ng commitments pero dahil I'm not getting any younger, alam mo na, kailangan palagi tayong kumpleto sa tulog.

“Para, siyempre, hindi tayo dapuan ng kahit anong sakit.

"So ang ginagawa ko, nag-e-exercise ako every day. I read books kapag bed time. I also use a liniment bago ako matulog,” she said.

Recently, Julie Anne mentioned that overthinking in these trying times caused her sleeping problem.

“Being home quarantined gives me a lot of time to reflect on myself.

"I have more time to hang out with my family, like cooking together and watching movies.

"I'm also so blessed to have time to do the things I love the most like writing songs.

“These past few weeks, I was struggling so much to get the most eight hours of quality sleep because I tend to overthink, especially of the current situation we're going through right now.

"I'm wondering how many of us are experiencing the same thing,” she added.

But out of all those uncertainties, Juie Anne has found ways to improve her sleep in order to strengthen her immune system.

“But remember, nothing beats getting the right amount of sleep!

"Now more than ever, it's important for us to stay healthy and strengthen our immune system. I'm glad I've found a way to better sleep.

“I hope you guys are able to get the quality sleep you need. Stay strong, healthy and keep spreading the good vibes to everyone!"
