"I was in a COVID-19 ward, sobrang traumatic," says 'Pera Paraan' host Susan Enriquez.
Pera Paraan host Susan Enriquez shared her experience of contracting pneumonia and being hospitalized as a suspected COVID-19 case while waiting for the result of her swab test.
During her Kapuso Zoomustahan, Susan narrated how she suffered from pneumonia back in May, around the time of her birthday which led her to get tested. "Nag-swab testing ako twice kasi nagkaroon ako ng Pneumonia. Nung una suspected case ako kasi may mga symptoms ako. I had skin rashes, nawalan ako ng gana kumain, nanghina ako. Wala naman akong cough, fever, o sipon pero nag-pneumonia siya so naging suspected case so twice akong nagpa-swab test."
She continued, "I was confined. I was in a COVID-19 ward, sobrang traumatic. Doon ako nag-birthday sa ospital noong May. Sobrang sad kasi ako kahit suspected [case] lang, wala akong kasama sa room, hindi allowed ang visitors. I was there for three days."
Her experience led her to realize how important it is to follow safety protocols. "Dapat talaga lahat tayo extra careful, huwag nating ipagsawalang bahala 'yung mga paalala sa atin na lagi tayong maging maingat at susunod sa mga protocol na ipinapatupad."
