Years since revealing her autoimmune disease, Kris Aquino is getting candid about her health in an Instagram post on Wednesday morning.

The Queen of All Media shed light on one of the signs of her autoimmune thyroiditis, which includes a protrusion of one of her eyeballs, as she shared a bare-faced selfie while wearing workout clothes.

“I'll point it out, my left eyeball is much bigger and protrudes more visibly than my right. That's an indication of my autoimmune thyroiditis acting up,” she said.

“I can't do vigorous exercises, but I read up on a few breathing and morning meditation that I can try while working myself up to going back to a regular yoga practice.”

Kris added, “Yes, #maypinaghahandaan.”

In 2018, Kris Aquino revealed that she had been diagnosed with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, an autoimmune disease that affects only about 20 percent of people at some time during their lives and can last anywhere from minutes to months--or even years.

This requires Kris to be on a high dosage of antihistamines as she is prone to recurring severe allergic reactions.

Following the diagnosis, the famous talk show host revealed that she is battling a form of lupus during a press conference.

She said, “Now I can tell you the truth, I'm allergic to every single medicine that can cure you or at least manage your symptoms kung may lupus ka. All my doctors are doing now is delaying it.”

Kris is reported to be suffering from five health disorders: chronic spontaneous urticaria, severe migraine, hypertension, fibromyalgia, and overproduction of thyroid antibodies.

She also added that she is being watched over for vasculitis and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).

Since being diagnosed, Kris has been taking a break from her busy showbiz life, only taking occasional projects to spend more time with her two kids Joshua and Bimby, and focusing on her health.
