COVID-19 survivor Maureen Larrazabal pleads for people to get vaccinated

Former Bubble Gang comedienne Maureen Larrazabal stressed the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

Maureen, a COVID-19 survivor herself, told GMA Network.com during her virtual interview yesterday (October 7) that she feels a lot safer now, since she has been fully inoculated.

As of this writing, the Philippine government has fully vaccinated close to 22 million Filipinos.

She said, “I'm very happy and blessed to inform everyone na I'm okay now. I'm fully recovered wala na ako nararamdaman at all and fully vaccinated na rin ako.”

“So, mas safe ang pakiramdam ko ngayon. Hindi na ako masyado natatakot na magkaroon uli ako ng COVID, kasi I know, since fully vaxxed kung magkaroon man ako ng mga symptoms very minimal na lang,” she added.

In her exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com last year, Maureen revealed that she was positive for the virus after undergoing a mandatory RT-PCR test with the network before her taping.

The sexy comedienne pointed out that a lot of her friends are having second thoughts about getting their COVID-19 shots, but she vouches that vaccines will be effective in making sure that you will only have milder symptoms of the disease if you get infected.

“Marami actually na friends na ayaw magpabakuna, pero based on my experience - of course I cannot answer for them, kung bakit ayaw nila. Pero, ibabase ko sa experience ko na nagka-COVID ako, na naramdaman ko 'yung hirap nang may COVID and the anxiety nang may COVID, 'yun ang malakas actually 'yung mas nakaka-stress at mas bothered ka,” Maureen shared.

She continued, “Yung iba nga nagkakaroon pa ng depression 'pag nagkakaroon ng COVID, kasi iba kasi talaga 'yung pakiramdam mo sa ordinary flu at sa COVID. Wini-wish ko lang na huwag n'yo maramdaman 'yung ganun kaya magpa-vaccine kayo, para kung magkaroon man kayo ang pakiramdam niya is just a regular lang na flu, para hindi n'yo pagdaanan 'yung super hirap.”
