Ken Chan feels blessed and thankful for being the first brand ambassador of an eye care brand
Ken Chan is the first brand ambassador for an eye care brand.
The Kapuso actor expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the said brand during an online media conference titled "Eye care in the time of the pandemic" held on November 5.
“It's a dream come true. Ako and 'yung family ko sobrang matagal na naming ginagamit 'yung Eye Mo and ito talaga 'yung tina-trust namin pagdating sa pag-aalaga ng mga mata. And now naman na 'yung Eye Mo 'yung nag-trust sa akin para maging first brand ambassador, it's such an honor," the actor explained.
The Clash host added “Until now, no'ng sinabi na ako 'yung magiging first brand ambassador ng Eye Mo, tumalon ako sa kilig at sa tuwa. I'm so touched and until now talaga, I feel so blessed and thankful.”
Ken is also truly honored to be a part of this brand because it raises awareness on the significance of cleaning the eyes, especially during these challenging times.
He further said, “I am truly honored to represent a brand that realizes the importance of cleaning our eyes every single day especially in this time of the pandemic, where personal hygiene is a great defense against COVID-19.”
Asked for the reason why they chose Ken as the brand's celebrity ambassador, Senior Vice President for Marketing and International Operations of Combiphar Weitarsa Hendarto said that the Kapuso star has what it takes to be a good ambassador for the eyecare brand.
Wei explained, “He himself believes in taking care of personal hygiene and eyes are very important for his line of work. The other reason is that we believe that the partnership comes naturally because he has a wide following and he is a talented actor.
“We are very happy that he values the importance of keeping the eyes healthy and clean and he also embodies the values that are important to us. He is a young man, who is responsible and conscientious, and he understands that proper self-care is important to our overall being.”
The launch was a success as it became a trending topic on Twitter.
