Last month, Pia Guanio's family had to undergo a difficult ordeal after they got infected with the dreaded coronavirus disease.

Answered prayer! This is how Eat Bulaga host Pia Guanio described the moment that her eldest Scarlet got vaccinated against COVID-19.

The celebrity mom took this crucial step to better protect her daughter after their family got infected with the highly-contagious virus during the Omicron surge in January.

Fortunately, the Mago couple were already fully vaccinated since June 2021.

According to reports, Pia's husband Steeve Mago and Scarlet were the first ones to test positive for the virus. After they recovered, it was Pia and Soleil Brooklyn's turn to get infected with the coronavirus disease.

In Pia's Instagram post, Scarlet got her first dose last February 17.

“We've prayed for this for a long time! Scarlet getting her first dose of the Covid vaccine. Thank YOU LORD for another answered prayer! And thank YOU LORD for our very game and very cute barangay health workers and frontliners! We (heart emoji) you,” she said.
