While the red flag could lead to more health issues, Kris Aquino is choosing to be positive about this latest development.

Kris Aquino is choosing to look at the brighter side of things after finding out a “scary red flag” in one of her lab tests.

In a post on her Instagram account, Kris shared that a red flag not related to her autoimmune issues appeared on her lab tests. While she said that the result made her cry, the possibility that it could possibly lead to early detection is also something that she is considering a blessing.

Aside from choosing positivity regarding this red flag about her health, Kris also used the post to thank multiple people that have been helping her, such as friends in the United States that have helped her find a place to stay in, the people who have been praying for her, as well as an unnamed individual who flew a 13-hour flight “each way” to spend some time with Kris on her birthday today.

The “red flag” in her lab tests comes after Kris shared early this month that she had a “strong chance of getting better.” She made the claim on her Instagram account after meeting with a new doctor who gave her “the renewed confidence to hope.”

Before getting her new doctor, Kris also took some time out from her treatments to fulfill a promise made to her son Josh to take him and his brother Bimby to Disney World.

Kris has been battling a number of autoimmune conditions since last year, ranging from Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (EGPA) or Churg-Strauss Syndrome, as well as autoimmune thyroiditis and chronic spontaneous urticaria.

Kris has regularly updated her fans and followers regarding her health and situation in the United States, where she is seeking treatment. Last year, she shared a photo of a document that helped her secure a longer stay in the United States. Kris also shared in the caption to the post that her extension approval may take anywhere from two to three months to get approved.

In June of last year, Kris announced that she would take a social media break and that she would be taking Rituxan, a chemotherapy drug that is used for cancer but also for autoimmune conditions like hers.
