Christian Bautista, Amy Perez and Ogie Alcasid

Christian, Amy, and Ogie maintain a healthy lifestyle with golf.

Due to the demand of being a showbiz personality in the Philippines, Filipino celebrities find ways to relax and ease their minds off the stress of hosting, dancing, singing, and performing.

While some see the fun in staying at home to rest, Christian Bautista and It's Showtime hosts Amy Perez and Ogie Alcasid find golf a good way to detox. Their golf session also serves as a bonding and mini-reunion for the three.

Ogie Alcasid shared his delight on Instagram for having Amy and Christian with him on a golf session last Thursday. The TV host posted a groufie with the two where they were seen smiling, wearing their golfing outfits.

He wrote, “The early bird gets the early biridie! It's showtime!”

Belo Beauty's official Instagram account commented on the post and said, “Love seeing our Belo babies together! [E]njoy, everyone! Don't forget to hydrate and apply sunblock!”

Meanwhile, Amy Perez also posted an Instagram story showing Christian and Ogie playing in the background. Christian reposted the story and thanked It's Showtime hosts for playing golf with him.

Christian wrote, “Salamat sa pag-invite, Madlang-Palo Golf group. Until next time!”

Aside from Amy and Ogie, their fellow It's Showtime host, Ryan Bang, also shares the same interest in playing golf.

In an old vlog from Vice Ganda where he raided the cars of his co-hosts, Ryan showed the compartment of his vehicle where he stored his golf including pins and clubs.

Mahammad Juber, MD of webmd.com explained that, while golf is a slow-paced sport, it may help improve heart health and life span.

He also added that the size of the course contributes to the positive effects of the sport because it pushes players to walk at least four to five miles, which is “enough” for the recommended 10,000 steps a day.
