Kapuso singer and actress Zephanie did something for the first time this 2024 - conquering her mother mountain with her co-stars in the youth-anthology series MAKA.
Speaking with GMANetwork.com at the pictorial of the upcoming GMA Prime series Mga Batang Riles, Zephanie expressed how she felt more inspired as she climbed to the top of Mt. Kulis in Rizal.
"Actually, sabi ko, sana meron akong ma-check off sa bucket list ko. This year has been very surprising sa akin 'yung mga pangyayari, ang dami kong na-explore na mga bagong bagay," she said.
"Sobrang saya ko kasi na-prove lang sa akin doon na minsan, nakadepende siya kung sino kasama mo. Mas na-appreciate ko rin 'yung life and si God, 'yung creation Niya, na it's such a privileged to see it, not everyone gets to do that.
"I'm so blessed na meron akong blessings na natatanggap para magawa 'yun. So, more of like reflecting on life din 'yung experience."

When she reached the summit, Zephanie became motivated to do the things that she loved doing and to achieve her dreams.
"It just motivated me more to explore the world, and explore my, somehow 'yung mga pangarap ko rin, like, ano pa 'yung mga gusto kong gawin sa life na outside na ng work kasi for me, it's important na ma-balance mo siya," she ended.
"That's how I balance life, by exploring the outside world ng showbiz. Nung nakita ko 'yun, ang dami mo pa palang pwedeng makita basta hindi ka takot na subukan, at hindi ka takot na mangarap. Masyadong hopeful 'yung words pero 'yun talaga 'yung na-feel ko that time, sobrang surreal."
