Ashley Ortega is a woman of many talents.
Before entering the modeling world and showbiz industry, the 23-year-old Kapuso star found her first love in figure skating.
The beautiful and talented actress began skating when she was around three years old and eventually started to enter competitions at around five years old. Ashley has competed in different countries like China, Malaysia, and Thailand and has won several medals.
In an episode of 'Tunay na Buhay,' she previously shared her wonderful experience as a professional figure skater at a young age. “Sa Malaysia, nakauwi po ako ng eight gold medals, dalawang silver saka isang bronze. Ako po 'yung Filipina na pinakamaraming nauwing gold medals.”
In 2018, Ashley competed in three categories and bagged three gold medals at the Summer Skate competition held at the SM Mall of Asia Ice Skating Rink.
In January 2022, the actress-entrepreneur returned to the skating rink and showcased her ever-impressive and fascinating moves in preparation for her first lead role in the Philippines' first-ever figure skating drama series 'Hearts On Ice.'
