Above and beyond: Hot air balloons take flight in Lubao's annual festival

If you're looking for reasons to head North these days, you just might have found one!

Beginning today, April 5 to 7, the annual International Balloon and Music Festival (LubaoIBMF 2019) is happening in Lubao, Pampanga.

Now on its 6th year, the much-awaited event continues to give a one-of-a-kind summer experience for the whole family.

Up, up, and away

One of the highlights of the three-day festival is the 31 local and international hot air balloons set to paint the skies of Pampanga with their colorful envelopes, the actual fabric which holds the air.

Three out of the 31 participants are from the country including real estate brokerage company, RE/MAX that is joining the festival for the very first time.

“We're very excited. In the entire world, RE/MAX owns more than one hundred balloons, and this is the first time it landed in Asia so we're happy to have it here in the Philippines,” says Eduardo Santos, master franchising co-owner of RE/MAX Philippines.

Sights and sounds

Music lovers are also in for a treat with LubaoIBMF 2019's amazing line-up of musicians.

Don't miss the performances of the country's top artists like Bamboo, Moira, and Apl.De.Ap.

Ben&Ben, Juan Karlos, I Belong To The Zoo, December Avenue, This Band, Gloc-9, Shanti Dope, and Al James will be performing at the event as well.

LubaoIBMF 2019 also offers a wide range of activities to keep its attendees entertained throughout the day.

The festival goers can enjoy activities like off road and rallycross, car show, an aerial show, food festival, firework display, and a whole lot more.
