Newly-engaged Kris Bernal and Perry Choi open new branch of their resto

Kapuso actress Kris Bernal is truly having a good 2020 so far. Last week, February 6, she and businessman boyfriend Perry Choi got engaged.

And this week, on February 13, Kris and her fiancé held an intimate engagement blessing ceremony, and also formally opened the new branch of their restaurant House of Gogi in Banawe Street, Quezon City.

Kris also promoted the 4-in- Dual Cover Crystal Skin Cushion, one of the products of her other business venture, She Cosmetics.

Among Kris' celebrity friends who came to show their support were Thea Tolentino, Analyn Barro, Mikoy Morales, Rita Daniela, Dianne Medina, and Rodjun Cruz.

Grateful to everyone who came, Kris said: "Thank you sa lahat ng suporta and sana happy kayo for me. Kasi alam niyo ang tagal ko na sa industry, 12 o 13 years na 'ata ako [sa showbiz] pero simula nung nangyari itong engagement, doon ko naramdaman na ''oh my gosh! in fairness sa 'kin ano ha...marami palang nagmamahal, maraming nag-ke-care.'"

Kris said that she was overwhelmed by all the love she's receiving ever since she got engaged. She shared, “Tumaas 'yung engagement ng social media accounts ko. Na-curious siguro sila kung ano'ng nangyari sa 'kin, sino ako. So, parang 'wow, love pa rin talaga ako ng mga tao.' So, maraming, maraming salamat po sa suporta.”
