Gal Gadot and other celebrities sing 'Imagine' in light of coronavirus pandemic

By Patricia Isabella Romarate

Gal Gadot gathered her celebrity friends to share positive vibes to her millions of followers through a heartfelt sing-along of John Lennon's song "Imagine" in light of the global health crisis caused by the pandemic coronavirus disease.

The 'Wonder Woman 1984' star was joined by Marvel's Hulk, Mark Ruffalo, and Natalie Portman who played Jane Foster in Thor films. Actor-comedians Kristen Wiig and Will Ferell, TV host Jimmy Fallon, and singer-songwriter Sia were among the other celebs who sang a phrase.

In the beginning of her Instagram video, Gadot shared that six days in self-quarantine got her “feeling a bit philosophical.”

“You know, this virus had affected the entire world, everyone, doesn't matter who you are, where you're from - we're all in this together.

“And I saw, I ran into this video of this Italian guy playing the trumpets in his balcony to all the other people who were locked inside their homes and he was playing Imagine and it was something so powerful and pure about this video,” she said.

The video uploaded in Gadot's Instagram TV garnered almost seven million views in just one day.
