'The Equalizer' and 'The Silence of the Lambs' get TV series reboots

By Racquel Quieta

In some parts of the world, the lockdowns and quarantines have eased, but in many places, people are still pretty much working and studying at home.

With having a "normal life" still uncertain, people will just have to make do with cooking their own meals, working and studying online, hanging out through video chat apps, watching films online on streaming services, or watching whatever is on TV.

And speaking of TV shows, CBS has announced plans of producing TV adaptations of iconic films The Equalizer and The Silence of the Lambs.

The Equalizer was a two-part film series released in 2014 and 2018 starring Denzel Washington and Chloe Grace Moretz.

The film series was loosely based from the 1985 show starring Edward Woodward, about a retired Intelligence Agent turned private detective who helps various victims of criminals and corrupt police officers.

And between now and 2021, CBS will be producing a re-imagined The Equalizer TV series.
