Mikael Daez and Megan Young discuss the effect of gaming on their relationship

In the newest installment of Mikael Daez and Megan Young's podcast, '#BehindRelationshipGoals,' the Kapuso couple discussed whether or not it's okay to spend money on games.

There, Mikael and Megan admitted that they do spend money on gaming, however, they also know when and where to draw the line when it comes to their favorite pastime.

According to Megan, they learned this lesson the hard way after their credit card bill revealed exactly how much money they're investing in their hobby.

"I remember that month, we were doing our expenses. Fofo (Mikael Daez) gave me a look, it was a look of 'Oh my God, I did something.' I was like, 'What?' And he said, 'Boneezy (Megan Young), I'm gonna be completely honest with you, you're going to get shocked. I spent this amount of money.

"My brain almost popped out of my head when I heard the amount.

"We have never spent that amount of money together and this was only him spending by himself. With us combined, mas less pa doon," she recalled.

Mikael then accepted his mistake and was glad that he could be honest with Megan about it.

"It was a moment of me being irresponsible and not disciplined at all. The thing is, because I was honest enough with Bonez, and nakakahiya 'yon, I was embarrassed to tell her because I was taking care of the finances and ako 'yung naging iresponsable for that month.

"But when I told her, she put me in my place. She told me, 'You can't do this. So you have to fix it. It was nice hearing that but I could only hear that if I was honest with her," he said.

Now, the two are doing much better with their spending habits with their gaming expenses at an all-time low.
