Andi Eigenmann talks about how to be eco-conscious on clothing

By Maine Aquino

Andi Eigenmann shared that their family is now passing on clothes to one another.

In an Instagram post, Andi talked about how she got her brother's clothes and how she passed hers to Ellie and Lilo.

"We have been going ukay-ukay on each other's wardrobes lately! While I just got a bunch of the comfiest sleeping shirts from my brother, Ellie discovered that a lot of my clothes (that I still love btw) are starting to fit her. She's only 8 you guyss!"

Andi also shared that Lilo is now wearing reusable diapers that she used to own in the '90s. She said that her mom Jaclyn Jose kept it so Andi can pass it on to her kids.

"Lilo, on the other hand, is wearing reusable diapers from the '90s. They used to be mine! Glad Nanay kept a bunch of my old baby clothes to pass on to my kids. Also, glad-er that they are still in style!"

Continuing her post about clothes, Andi shared that fast fashion is hard to let go of.

Fast fashion is known as cheap, trendy clothes that are sold by companies. Some of them are inspired by designer pieces.

Andi said, "Admittedly, as eco-conscious as I have been, supporting fast fashion, to me, was always the hardest to let go of. So that little activity of ours was such a wonderful thing for us to try!"

Andi continued on the topic of being eco-conscious by stating that it's okay to start in baby steps than doing nothing at all.

"Remember that it's always better to contribute even something so little than doing nothing at all. One can be doing their best yet still not succeed in doing it completely, AND THAT'S OK."
