EA Guzman shares tips for starting entrepreneurs

By Cara Emmeline Garcia

Kapuso actor Edgar Allan Guzman recently opened his online food business called “Adobong Tuyo,” with his mom.

The actor told GMANetwork.com that the idea stemmed from his love for eating his mom's homemade meals.

With its successful run, EA shared five tips that he's learned when opening his online start-up.

1. Be wise when making monetary decisions

EA said, "Maging wise ka sa pagdedesisyon--when it comes to your business, your money, and the quality ng products mo."

To explain, make calculated decisions when it comes to shelling out your money. We all want to become wise entrepreneurs and we can get there if we only trust the process.

2. Consider your customer's safety

Because of COVID-19, EA shares that the topmost priority of owners should be their customer's safety.

3. Think of the delivery

Another thing one must consider is the mode of delivery of your products.

EA prefers having a trusted courier that'll ensure his product gets delivered on time.

4. Be wary of scammers

With the rise of online businesses, more and more people are coming up with ways to scam start-ups.

EA advises that new owners should be able to verify payments to ensure that money is securely coming in.

5. Be careful of what you post online

Lastly, it's all about being careful of what you post online.
