Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo, Nyoy Volante cover Bill Wither's 'Lovely Day'

Kapuso couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo are back with their CoLove series and this time around, they are performing with Nyoy Volante and OPM band 3rd Avenue.

In an uploaded video on August 22, Jennylyn, Dennis, Nyoy, and the members of 3rd Avenue join together via Zoom to perform Bill Wither's 1977 classic hit, “Lovely Day.”

The actress wrote in the description, “Hello, bessie! Kamusta kayong lahat?

“Sana ay palaging healthy and beautiful! Kung nasaan man kayo ay sana makarating ang good vibes na ipapadala ng iko-cover naming song.

“Ang swerte namin dahil kasama naming makaka-jam today ang aming forever idol at multi-talented artist na si Mr. Nyoy Volante.

“So, together with 3rd Avenue, we send good vibes with a Bill Wither classic, 'Lovely Day!'

“Enjoy, everyone!”

In the four-minute clip, Nyoy takes the lead in singing while Jennylyn and Dennis focus on playing the bass and the drums, respectively.

As of this writing, their latest CoLove video has already received more than 8,000 views on YouTube.

Jennylyn's YouTube channel also recently hit 500,000 subscribers since joining last May 15, 2019. She currently has 40 uploaded videos that have amassed over 23 million views on the video-sharing platform.
