Make your Halloween at home spooktacular with these simple snacks!

Making themed snacks may seem time-consuming, especially decorative Halloween treats, which call for lots of creativity.

While a lot of us are still choosing to stay home for the holidays, baking goodies can be a great way to bond with family and find what creepy but cute snacks you can make.

We've got you covered for Halloween with these simple recipes that take less than an hour to prepare.

Brownie Spiders

Even if you're scared of real spiders, these cute creepers are great as a last-minute Halloween snack.

Ingredients:

1 package (15.8 ounces) brownie mix
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups crispy noodles
18 candy eyeballs

Directions:

Prepare and bake brownies according to package directions. Cool completely in a pan and let sit on a wire rack.

Melt the chocolate chips in a pan and pour over the crispy noodles.

Add noodles to remaining chocolate; stir gently to coat. Spread onto a waxed paper-lined baking sheet, separating noodles slightly. Freeze until set.

Cut nine brownies with a 2-1/4-in. round cutter for spider bodies. Attach eyeballs using reserved melted chocolate. With a toothpick, poke eight holes on top of each spider for inserting legs. Insert a coated noodle into each hole.

Candy Apples with Gummy Worms

There's no harm in eating this ghoulish-looking candy apples that are perfect for the season.

Ingredients:

4 apples
Gummy worms
Wooden sticks
Heavy cream
Light corn syrup
Brown sugar
Butter
Salt & vanilla extract

Directions:

Cook the ingredients on a stove until the mixture reaches 235°F (113°C).

Remove the caramel from the heat, then stir in the vanilla.

Allow the caramel to cool for a few minutes then dip the apples and let it cool.

Place the gummy worms on top of the apples and attach the wooden sticks.

Bat-shaped sandwiches

Ingredients:

Sliced bread
Peanut butter
Jam
Bat-shaped cookie cutter

Directions:

Get your cookie-cutter ready ahead of time for this very simple snack recipe. Use the cookie-cutter to mold and shape the bread slices. Spread the peanut butter and jam for the filling.

While Halloween is just around the corner, making the holiday extra memorable is easy, especially if you have fresh and creative home celebration ideas.
