Bibliophiles attack! The Manila International Book Fair goes online for its latest edition

The biggest book fair in the country is back albeit in an online platform to keep up with the times.

The Manila International Book Fair Online or MIBF Online will carry a wide variety of titles and related products from more than 60 publishers and sellers from November 24 to 30.

Just some of the participating local and foreign publishing houses this year are Ateneo de Manila University Press, Vibal Group. Asia/Pacific Circulation Exponents, Inc., National Book Development Board (NBDB), National Book Store, Inc., Summit Books, PSICOM Publishing Inc, Phoenix Educational Systems, Inc., Precious Pages Corp., Rex Book Store, Inc., University of Santo Tomas Publishing House, and University of the Philippines Press.

Just like in the past, the fair will host several side events to engage and entertain book lovers of all ages.

Award-winning author Anna Gomez (The Light in the Wound, In This Life) will give an online sneak peek of her collaboration book project with American actor, Kristoffer Polaha, titled From Kona with Love. It's a five-part book series to be launched on February 2, 2021.

Not to be missed also is the Pandemic Playbook: the BDAP Literary Festival from November 28 to 29 featuring big-named personalities in local literature and media such as Gina Apostol, Eugene Evasco, Gigo Alampay, Lourd De Veyra, Mookie Katigbak, Jessica Zafra, Manix Abrera, Mina Esguerra, Ricky Lee, among others.
