New 'Mobile Legends' hero Paquito uses Tagalog voice lines in-game!

Last November, popular online game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) introduced Pinoy boxing champ, Manny Pacquiao, as the game's newest ambassador.

“It was easy for me to say yes when Moonton approached me to be their Philippine ambassador,” he says.

“I already know of Mobile Legends even before they got in touch because my son, Jimuel, plays the game on his phone and regularly streams with friends. So why not be a part of what my son loves?” said Manny.

In light of their partnership, Moonton, the video game developer behind MLBB, decided to create an upcoming hero that pays homage to the boxing champ which they named "Paquito."

Paquito is currently playable in the game's advanced server where players have discovered that the upcoming champ has a special option in which he could be made to speak Filipino in-game.

Some of Paquito's voice lines include "Suntok para sa suntok," "Sumabay sa mga suntok," "Ito ang buhay kamao," and "Tulog!" among many others.

According to an article uploaded on TalkEsport, Paquito has been reported to be released sometime this January 2021.
