The coronavirus pandemic has forced many events to go online instead of canceling altogether.
Events last year like the Manila Book Fair, Likhang Habi Market Fair, and Metro Manila Film Festival, to name a few, went virtual to carry on with annual traditions.
The early stages of 2021 are taking a similar path with big regional festivities like the Sinulog in Cebu and Iloilo's Dinagyang Festival tapping the internet for this year's celebrations.
Adding to the list is Art in the Park - an outdoor event that gathers various galleries, art collectives, student groups, and independent art spaces.
Event organizers announced that this year's edition will be held online from February 21 to 28.
This marks the second time that Art in the Park will go online after it did the same last year due to the quarantine measures implemented nationwide.
A total of 60 galleries will be participating with the public being able to access the artworks and buy them online.

The art pieces will be sold at various prices so everyone will have a chance to purchase artworks regardless of taste and budget.
The names of the participants for this year are posted on the event's Facebook page.
Art in the Park has been around since 2006. The event is highly anticipated by art enthusiasts as it gives them the chance to check out different galleries in one visit.
Last year's edition had plenty of side events including a live auction and lottery dedicated to smaller paintings and prints.
Many of our local celebrities are art fans. Some even possess a sizable collection of artworks in their homes.
Other celebrities, aside from accumulating artworks, also dabble into painting in their spare time. This was true especially at the height of the lockdown last year. Here are just a few names who created their own artworks to keep them sane during the pandemic.
