Beautiful Philippines! Astronaut Soichi Noguchi is spreading good vibes online by sharing a photo of the Philippines taken from the International Space Station.

Netizens are raving over the spectacular photo of the Philippines taken by Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Soichi Noguchi on board the International Space Station.

Soichi tweeted the photo of the Philippine archipelago that has garnered over 11,000 likes and counting.

With the country still grappling with the effects of the rising number of COVID-19 cases, Soichi's photo seems to give Pinoy netizens a much needed break from all the negative news concerning the pandemic.

Here are some of the netizens' reactions to Noguchi's viral Twitter photo.

According to the JAXA website, Soichi Noguchi was born in 1965 in Yokohama, Kanagawa.

He received a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering degree in 1989 and a master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 1991.

In 2020, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies, all from the University of Tokyo.

In addition, Noguchi has logged a total of 177 days, 3 hours, 5 minutes in space.
