Khalil Ramos

The Kapuso actor loves to take photos of everyday life during his travels.

Khalil Ramos is a man of many talents. Aside from acting and singing, he has also dabbled in vlogging via Front-Seat Foodies and the podcast Figure It Out, both with girlfriend Gabbi Garcia.

But there's another passion that keeps Khalil preoccupied, a hobby that he fell in love with doing several years ago.

“It's something that I discovered back in 2009. My tito introduced it to me,” Khalil said about photography during a chat with Sophia Senoron and Martin Javier in Rise Up Stronger: NCAA Season 96 a few weeks back.

“It's something that I really love doing. I guess it's one of my interests talaga, visual art. So in the form of photography kasi unfortunately my hands aren't talented enough to draw or paint so I use a camera instead,” explained Khalil.

Khalil even has a dedicated Instagram account called “shotbykhalilr,” where he puts the images that he himself had taken.

Incidentally, some of the photos posted by Khalil were taken in Vietnam during a trip to the country in 2019.

Khalil was so charmed by Vietnam that he hopes to visit again soon once travel restrictions ease.

“I went there prior to the pandemic. I was there alone,” Khalil fondly recalled.

“I love traveling alone. Parang sobrang culture trip, so I got to immerse. Locally siguro, I want to go maybe to Batanes. Sobrang peaceful kasi dun.”
