Bets from the regions shone in the inaugural Reina Filipinas pageant whose winners will represent the Philippines in the Miss Grand pageants.
Angelica Lopez of Palawan was crowned the first Reina Filipinas Grand International. She will represent the Philippines in Miss Grand International.
Lopez was Binibining Pilipinas International 2023.
Meanwhile, Iloilo’s Alexie Brooks won the Reina Filipinas MGI All Stars crown alongside Manila’s Anne Patricia Diaz, the only transgender contestant in the pageant.
They will represent the Philippines in the second edition of Miss Grand International All Stars in Thailand.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
All three titleholders have international pageant experience.
By virtue of her Binibining Pilipinas crown, Lopez represented the Philippines in Miss International 2024 in Japan but did not make the cut.
Brooks, however, won for the Philippines the country’s third Miss Eco International crown in Egypt in 2025. She was sent to the pageant after landing as finalist in Miss Universe Philippines 2024.
Diaz, on the other hand, represented the Philippines in Miss International Queen 2025 and made it to the Top 6.
Diaz also won in the Miss Q&A segment of noontime show It’s Showtime.

The pageant also named runners up to Lopez:
- 1st Runner-Up: Cleopatra Barrera, Zambales
- 2nd Runner-Up: Isabella Ortega, Camarines Sur
- 3rd Runner-Up: Zeah Nestle Pala, Mandaluyong
- 4th Runner-Up: Luisa Lorin Benavides, Caloocan
Reina Filipinas is spearheaded by shoe designer Jojo Bragais with Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Tiglao serving as national director.
Tiglao bid farewell to her Miss Grand Philippines title through a walk and a speech during the Reina Filipinas finals at the Newport World Resorts evening on August 7, 2026.
