The beauty pageant world has now officially joined the digital craze that is NFT. In celebration of their 70th anniversary, the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) will release its first NFT collection, featuring iconic beauty queens such as our very own Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.

In launching the Miss Universe Series 1 NFT collection, MUO has partnered with Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX), a well-known NFT and entertainment network that prides itself of being the most eco-friendly blockchain on the planet.

The first-ever Miss Universe NFTs, which is also the first beauty pageant NFTs, will be comprised of digital card collectibles that come in two packs, the standard and premium packs, each containing pre-minted cards and varying rarities.

A Standard pack contains three pre-minted cards, priced at $14.99 or around P760, while a Premium pack contains 12 pre-minted cards, priced at $49.99 or P2,537.

Both packs are limited edition, with only 2,500 Standard Packs and 1,500 Premium Packs available.

The five rarities that the Miss Universe NFTs are available in are the following:

Common (47.995 %)
Uncommon (31.000 %)
Rare (16.000 %)
Legendary (4.800 %)
Exclusive Legendary (0.200 %)

Plus, some lucky NFT buyers will also get the chance to be an honored, VIP Miss Universe guest and enjoy in-person benefits if they find a Golden Ticket (0.005 % Chance) in their purchased pack.

Some of the perks that the Golden Ticket finders will enjoy include exploring behind the scenes and meeting the candidates.

The first Miss Universe NFT collection will drop on October 28, at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 pm ET.
