Is Binibining Klay the earliest Swiftie?
Maria Clara at Ibarra star Barbie Forteza made her own version of the “Bejeweled” trend on TikTok, all the while donned in her full Filipiniana attire.
Barbie posted a TikTok video of her singing along to the verse and chorus part of Taylor Swift's “Bejeweled” from her latest chart-topping album Midnights.
In the video, the Kapuso actress walked toward the camera before twirling in her Filipiniana ensemble.

Barbie also captioned the video with some lyrics of the song, “What's a girl gonna do? A diamond's gotta shine.”
Because of the cover, some fans are jokingly dubbing her Maria Clara at Ibarra character, Klay, as the “sinaunang Swiftie,” or the earliest fan of Taylor Swift.
Others, meanwhile, are requesting for a TikTok video with Ibarra (played by Dennis Trillo) and Fidel (played by David Licauco).
The fans seemed to love Barbie's “Bejeweled” video as it has so far garnered 1 million views and 195,000 likes, as of writing.
On November 8, Barbie said in an interview with Nelson Canlas on "Chika Minute" that as a proud Swiftie, she wanted to do the challenge too and since she's already wearing the costume, she did not let the opportunity pass.
"Siyempre bilang Swiftie ako, di'ba? Proud Swiftie ako, siyempre ginawa ko na. 'Di ko pinalagpas 'yung pagkakataon na naka-costume ako ni Klay," she said.
