Quark Henares supports sister Scarlet Snow Belo's film critic journey

By Kristian Eric Javier

Filmmaker Quark Henares is proud of his little sister, Scarlet Snow Belo, as she starts her journey to review films he himself curated for her.

“Scarlet has begun her journey as a film critic and I am all for it,” he wrote on Twitter last night, sharing a couple of Scarlet's quirky and honest reviews on the movies Monster House (2006) and Willow (1988), which was adapted into a TV series by Disney+ recently.

On the first movie, Monster House, Scarlet gave a five-star rating, saying, "I liked this movie a lot."

She also described, "It was scary, but it was good because it was scary."

Unlike the first movie, the seven-year-old celebrity did not to like the Willow.

“I don't like the movie. I got scared and it is so obvious the dogs look so weird,” she said of the movie.

However, she mentioned that the monster in the movie was cool and described a part of the movie she likes.

Before giving her two-star rating, Scarlet noted about the movies Direk Quark suggested to her, "Kuya Quark always shows me scary movies, and I'm still not used to it."

Quark, the son of Dra. Vicky Belo and Atom Henares, created a list of movies that he is organizing for his little sister as she grows up. He included classic kids' movies like Disney's Hercules, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and newer movies such as Frozen II, Coco, and Onward among others.

He mentioned on his online journal that his main reason he curated the list is so that he can revisit the same movies with his own kids eventually.

“Hopefully the list will provide good movie suggestions for your own kids! The number one reason I'm making this is so I can revisit it for my little ones, eventually,” he said.
