Bryanboy's showed his preferred 'motivational rice': 'Dito po tayo sa 20,000 euro Gucci rice'

By Kristian Eric Javier

Fashion blogger and socialite Bryanboy, or Bryan Yambao, is not at all motivated by motivational speaker and entrepreneur Rendon Labador's so-called “motivational rice.” Instead, what motivates him is actually worth 20,000 Euros.

“Ayoko naman po mang yabang pero sa'kin po, hindi po nakaka motivate ang 100 pesos motivational rice,” Bryanboy said in a TikTok video.

He then jokingly showed his preferred rice stored in Gucci Osteria tin box, which is the signature container at the renowned Italian bakery.

“'Yung standards ko po, medyo mataas, and I'm talking about my present. 'Yung rice namin, galing siya ng Gucci. Bali 'yung one kilo ng rice, this is 20,000 Euros. 'Yan po 'yung rice na ginagamit namin to make chicken arroz caldo.”

The video is in response to the recent flak that motivational speaker Rendon Labrador received after he posted a picture of his newly opened restaurant's menu items. This included a cup of what he called a "motivational rice" that costs PhP100 per serving.

In an Instagram video, he explained that the trending food item was a way to motivate people to work harder and afford something expensive. He also clarified that selling a cup of rice for PhP100 is not his way of discriminating against people who can't afford it.

"Hindi naman po kanin ang binebenta ko dito, e. I'm selling you your future,” Rendon said in the video.

Bryanboy's response to this, “Kung yan lang po ang future ko, oh my God, nakakatakot, ayoko nyan.”

“So no, hindi po ako namomotivate ng 100 pesos, dito po tayo sa 20,000 Euro Gucci rice,” he added.
