Gwen Zamora says character Alejandra’s back story will move viewers

GMA Afternoon Prime series, Innamorata has been airing for a month now, and it has successfully drawn viewers into the world of Esperanza, a woman with a skin disease who yearns for true love.

Esperanza might just have her chance at getting her happy ending through the ruby necklace she discovers. When worn, the ruby necklace makes her beautiful. However, it belongs to Alejandra, the woman in the painting who is also Esperanza’s grandmother.

Gwen Zamora, who plays Alejandra in the series, enlightened us about the depth of her character.

“Week six is my week. Ibibigay talaga ‘yung breakdown kung paano naging ganyan si Alejandra, kung ano ‘yung pinanggalingan niya,” she said.

Gwen added, “Noong nagstart ‘yung show, it was established na masama ‘yung character, pero ‘pag nalaman niyo ‘yung pinanggalingan niya, maaawa kayo.”

What should viewers look forward to in the coming episodes of the show?

“Tuwing lumalabas ako, sinasabi ko lang kay Esperanza na hindi na siya puwedeng umatras kasi may kasunduan na kami that susuotin niya ‘yung kuwintas ko, gagaling at gaganda siya. Pero, there’s a time na ayaw na niya pero hindi puwede dahil may usapan,” answered Gwen.

She also gave this message to all the supporters of the show: “Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nanonood ng Innamorata. Dahil sa inyo, ne-extend kami ng four weeks. Sana ma-extend more. Push!”
