Angel Satsumi dreams to go places

Young actress Angel Satsumi is surely very driven and goal-oriented. At seven years old, she already knows what she wants to be when she grows up.

“Matagal ko na po gusto maging piloto,” she shared.

Angel even noted how she admires Fil-Am Jessica Cox, the world’s first licensed armless pilot. “[Ang galing na] nagpa-pilot siya. 'Yung wala siyang kamay, tapos paa ginagamit niya,” she said.

Asked about her favorite thing about traveling, she enthusiastically replied, “Kasi lumilipad ako tapos masarap mga pagkain (sa airplane). ‘Pag pumupunta kami ni Mama sa Japan, pati pagkain ni Mama, nakakain ko na eh.”

At a young age, Angel could already be considered a globetrotter as she’s already travelled to Japan, Singapore and the United States. Locally, she’s been to Cagayan De Oro, Vigan and Cebu, among others.

Angel, who is half-Japanese, still gets thrilled every time she goes to Japan. “Food trip araw araw saka pumpasyal kami sa Akibahara. Ramen yung kinakain ko palagi,” she excitedly said.

Her dream to become a pilot mostly comes from the desire to bring her mom to different countries. On their list of dream destinations are Jerusalem, London and Egypt. However, the child star is most delighted about the Holy Land.

“Gusto namin ni Mama (puntahan) 'yun (kasi) nandun 'yung pinagdaanan ni Jesus,” she said.

This early, she works towards her dreams by studying hard, even answering modules while on set.
