Lovi Poe on working with Maricel Soriano: “Dream ko ‘yun ever since”

Following the successful run of Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas, Kapuso leading lady Lovi Poe will be returning to primetime through her upcoming drama series, Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real (working title). This time around, she will be sharing the screen with Diamond Star Maricel Soriano and Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
Lovi expressed her excitement in working again with Dingdong, whom she has co-starred with in the film, Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles. Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real marks her first television team-up with the award-winning actor.
“I’m very excited kasi finally, makakatrabaho ko si Dingdong. This time, it’s with Ms. Maricel Soriano pa, so parang everything’s handed to you na. All the best na puwedeng makasama are here, plus si Direk Andoy Ranay pa ‘yung magdidirect so lahat sila mahuhusay,” said Lovi.
She added, “I feel so blessed to be able to work with really amazing actors. Dream ko ‘yun ever since, to be with Maricel Soriano and all of these people that I have worked with. Excited na akong maka-eksena si Ms. Maricel.”
On the concept of her new series, Lovi stated,“It’s not the typical soap na may sampalan, ganyan. We have our own stories and it’s different. It happens until now.”
Viewers will also get the chance to see a totally different side of Lovi. She elaborated,“They’re asking me to cut my hair, so I’m gonna transform. Also, my personality, kailangan sobrang lively ko, eh I’m very chill. Kailangan maging sobrang bubbly and energetic. It’s super different from my previous roles and from sa akin in real life.”
