Aljur Abrenica jams for children with cancer

Beneath Aljur Abrenica’s Prince Charming looks and hunky physique is his most admirable trait: a good heart.

The Kapuso hunk did a random act of kindness in Eastwood last March 27 when he decided to jam with a band that raises funds for kids with cancer.

The performers, Climax band, organized the “Musikaramay” event to gather musicians from all walks of life to use music in helping others and building lives. Each performance is dedicated to a special cause.

The band was moved when Aljur decided to join them in their performance. The Kambal Sirena leading man took the stage and gave a rocking performance of the Maroon 5 song, “Daylight”.

"Musikaramay" extended their gratitude to Aljur for his random act of kindness. Together with a photo of Aljur performing with the band, the group posted this statement in their Instagram account, musikaramay: “Aljur Abrenica didn’t hesitate to jam with us last Thursday at Eastwood. He was just at the event beside us when he saw us playing for a cause. He explained how moved he was by the advocacy. Thanks for sharing your talent and time to Kids with Cancer. God bless you, bro!”

A lot of netizens were touched by Aljur’s participation in the event and have given him good feedback for it. The Kapuso hunk is also involved in other advocacies. He currently sponsors two kids from World Vision, a foundation that focuses on providing and assisting the needs, rights and responsibilities of children through development and education.
